day 6 with no power. LIPA telling us 3 or 4 more days

doing my best to conserve gas and not have to fill during this gas station mayhem. its insane. mile long lines, cops at every station that has gas. People sleeping in their cars at pumps waiting for a truck to show. scary stuff.

Yup, I'm in huntington, Northshore. About a 5 mins from the sound.
 
Glad your safe. Those pictures are amazing. I've never dealt with a storm like that before but I can imagine since I've been through 2 tornados. Clean up is a pain but at least everyone is okay
