Hurricane Irma

If you want eerie, try the eye of the storm... sunlight and blue skys.. and the realization that it is only 1/2 over

This is a picture from Tampa Bay showing how the hurricane winds pushed the water into the ocean. Pretty crazy to think about the force necessary to do that.

Crazy will be when Mother Nature brings all that water back and then some with the storm surge. Could be catastrophic.

Thoughts and prayers to all in Florida (and TX).

How`d everyone in FL doing this am? Pls update the rest of us on your well being!!

guessing power is out for most them and cable/internet is probably messed up. So unless the are on generator or have power for there phone we wont hear from them for a few days.

Praying for Florida. I have family in Land O` Lakes FL.

Starting to feel the effects of Irma here in the Atlanta area. Rain and the wind is really starting to pick up. This is the first Tropical Storm warning in the history of Atlanta. Should be an interesting couple of days.

I spoke woth Rons son who said they`re good
Other than that, only saw a post from Dwayne @ poorboys safe as well.

No power since 8pm last night here in Melbourne, but we have water and friends that do surprisingly have power. And no damage done thankfully, just lots of debris.

Last I saw was that 58% of Florida residents lost power, so restoration could be awhile.

It`s amazing how bright the cordless LED stuff is when you take them out of their normal environment (I.E.- Lighting up a dark room Vs illuminating under a hood or inside of a car in a bright/ish garage.

How is your Dad and rest of family? How did your neighborhood fare?
