i can tell you that 50w/50a and clay bar won't remove Collinite 845-as for sealants-the 50/50 mix should remove them

Joke number 2. :nixweiss

I guess another protectant that needs a belt sander or Minn. winter to remove.

Take some Collinite and place in some 50/50 IPA and see what happens over time - dissolution. The process is quicken by rubbing when products of this type are on a surface and in microscopic quantities.

no joke-just what i observed on the hood of my car-of course if you just pour a bit of liquid wax into a bottle of alcohol it will dissolve and mix-but in spraying it on the surface you use a lot less alcohol-especially if its cut with water-not an equal comparison at all

As much as I like Collinite, not even the 476S (the toughest of the Collinite siblings) will withstand claybar and alcohol with water. I just lived that pain when I got oil in the paint. The 845 is very tough, though less than the 476S.

Some products are just killers for the LSP. Any decent paint cleaner will take them out. As counterpoint, the hyped dishsoap method will remove collinite... if applied directly and allowed to sit for a while. A mixture with water won't touch the 476S or the 845.
