Hows Edge with Flex

So has anyone used the Edge system with the Flex? I remember all the posts about it but hadn't heard anything since. I was interested in how it was working. Problems like the PC or all sorted out?
 
It's still difficult to get the Edge adapters for the Flex, which is one of the reasons I've yet to consider one.
 
i was luckey and was put on the mail list to get one which i now have and use it's a tad hard to remove the pads,but that is a learning process on the adapter on how to get the pads off. now the new adapter for the rotary is great very easy to get the pads on/off with.If you haven't seen one it's kinda like a air hose type adapter just pull down on the neck and the pad comes right off. Now if they made that one for the flex it would be great.
 
I have the Edge system for my Flex and I have to say it is probably the best thing for it. I can now get in tighter spaces and not have to use either my hand or a different polisher. Just change the pad and you are off.

How do you get into spaces a 4 inch pad might be appropriate for? Such as Pillars and trunk lids and such? Maybe using the edge of the pad? That seems risky though.

I too have the Edge adapter and love it with my Flex.I gives it more Flexablity with pads sizes. Really tight spots I move the pad to my PC|UDM .Great addition to the Flex
 
Well thats good, thanks for the replys. I(along with some others that posted) was very worried that it would have the problem the PC adapter had with the beads falling out. Cool, thanks again

Well that's very likely to still happen. I think Edge has stated a number of times that the vibrating action of the R.O devices is what causes the failure. Which is why it doesn't happen to Rotaries.

I just tape up what I dont what polished and have not had a single problem.
