I have a paint flaw under the clear coat. Guess no way to remove it huh. About the 2 millimeters square. Looks like someone tried to pick something out of color coat then applied the clear. Kinda looks like a large metal flake.





PS Smack dab on the hood for all to see. Drives me nuts!
 
Hi all. A newB here from Las Cruces, New Mexico. I am a super novice at detailing and I am just a DIYer kind of guy. I did a little detailing on my 2003 Ram when I bought it and it stayed decent looking until I traded it on my Avalanche at the end of 09. I don't really go for a show finish as I take my trucks off road and they do get some pinstripeing via the desert vegetation.

This is my black Av just after 2 coats of BFWD. I have not polished it at all just the Wet Diamond applied by hand. I just bought a PC and a bunch of pads to keep it looking decent though.
