At the end of last year I bought a 2008 BMW 335xi Titanium Silver. When I bought it, I decided I would get into detailing to keep it looking great! Well, after it became a shop hog, the wife and I decided to trade it in for a Honda Pilot. BORING. But either way I want to keep it looking great, so I started looking through this site for better washing techniques. From here I've learned about the two bucket wash with grit guard, not washing out in the sun and other basics of novice car cleaning. Thanks for the help everyone!

Thanks for the welcome! I really enjoyed reading your post about detailing aircraft. As a professional pilot, it's an interest of mine to keep aircraft clean and learning the techniques on aircraft was informative. Thanks!
