Hi, folks.
I have a black 2001 740iL I'll be detailing next Saturday. I've already looked at the car, and it is covered with swirls/spiderwebs/fine scratches.
For those who have worked on late-model BMWs, have you found that the paint is easy to work with a PC? I have Meg's #83 and #80, with Meg's and LC Cutting, Polishing, and Finishing pads.
Given the large amount of fine scratches, I am considering going straight to #83 with a Polishing pad, on speed 5. Or would #80 on speed 6 with a Polishing pad be better? This is my main issue.
I'm planning on finishing with EX topped w/ #16.
Thanks for any advice!:wavey
