How Too Clean Mirofibers and Towels?

Think 'rinse-aid' without the silicone residue. Its an old (and superior) method your grand-mother probably used. :up

Probably nothing much. :D APC is generally quite mild compared to detergent, unless the APC is undiluted. Still, it won't be stronger. Hand wash some MF with detergent and see what it does to your hands. :faint:

haha I know what my washer would do. It would sud up like crazy then it would spaz out and go into its "SUD" cycle... I like the front load set but don't add too much detergent or you won't get your stuff out of the washer for some time. :D

I use Micro Restore and the towels come out great. Proper Auto Care has it in gallon size for $22.95. You use 1 oz. for medium loads and 2 oz. for large loads.

From a cost perspective, I think this is on par with the earlier recommendations for Charlie Soap.

Sorry to bring back an older thread but.. I was just wondering if it would be okay to throw in my eurow sheepskin mit along with the microfiber towels?

I use a cap full of Woolite on 40 degrees and I mix my Megs sheepskin mit with the microfibre towels. Seems okay, although after 2 years my mit is starting to fall apart, but I think that's too be expected after so long.

How much vinegar is recommended to use on a small load?

I usually use about a tablespoon per towel.

By the way, everyone here is saying "vinegar" just be sure you are using distilled white vinegar and noting else.

I do if the skin is not too dirty.

Actually did my towls last night, and one of them had Collinite 845 on it, and that is all I could smell in the washer. I hope I did not ruin my towels.
