How Too Clean Mirofibers and Towels?

I was wondering if it was okay to wash towels and mircofibers with ALL detergent? I have been doing this for awhile now in my sink then drying them in the dryer. I am trying to find a better way because the ALL does not seem to take out the stains and I am scared that the stain on the towel might make were it could scratch the paint. I am getting some Mircofiber Restorer in the mail tomorrow. Will this be good enough? Also, what do I do with the PC Pads after using them? Is there some way to clean them so next time you use them they will not have contamation on them that will scratch the paint. Thanks
 
i wash all my microfibers with liquid tide in warm water in the washer and then dry in the lowest heat setting. after i'm done with pads, i soak them in a bucket with dawn and warm water. after i agitate/squeeze out all the water, i let them air dry on the grit guard.
 
I wash MF towels in the wash machine, medium heat, with whatever detergent I have on hand. Then, I hang them up to air dry. I wash them in two groups and I keep a couple of boxes in the garage to separate the groups. When one gets dirty I throw it in the appropriate box and when I have enough for a load of wash in they go. The two groups are drying towels, window and QD towels in the first group and vinyl and leather protectant buffing towels in the second group.



I don't know anything about the MF restorer but I would not worry too much about a few stains that don't come out in the wash. The towel is still clean even if it is stained a bit and should not hurt your paint.
 
Two words "Charlies Soap", do a search and you will come up with alot of MF cleaners. None are as economical or as versital.
 
regular wash with warm water and an extra rinse. Take em out and throw em in the dryer, medium heat until 95% dry. Take em out and hang em out on a wash line to finish drying. This last step greatly reduces static charge in the towels.
 
You can use hot water guys. In fact, hot water is best as it allows the detergent to better lift contaminants. There is no household hot water so hot as to cause any damage, in fact, boiling water won't hurt your towels.



Of course, always use liquid detergents without additives.
 
I like the specialized detergents like MicroRestore and Pinnacle MicroRejuvenator. I find they do a great job. I also use Tide HE in a pinch. I dry on only medium heat.
 
I dry mine anywhere from medium to high heat ( espeically thicker towels like DF); absolutely no ill effects.
 
My towels never released the stains until I started using hot water. Since then they look and feel great with no apparent harm to the fabric. They seem to love it.



I use a liquid detergent (so that undissolved granules don't get stuck and marr the paint) and do two rinses, one with white vinegar.
 
before i tried Sonüs and Pinnacle Rejuvenator i always washed my microfiber with a normal detergent but i saw a difference with the pinnacle/sonus the microfiber look like new and more clean.

and to end the pinnacle rejuvenator is better than the Sonüs :)

Oh yea, my fiance is always asking where the vinegar went? I say I am doing car towels then I get the look, but she does love a clean car, so can't really complain.

I use liquid detergent and some oxyclean. I put white vinegar in a Downy Ball for the rist rinse. Then use the 'extra' rinse cycle. Wash, vinegar rinse, rinse.



Air dry or dryer on lowest.
 
I've been looking into Charlie's Soap and think thats the way to go for the budget enthusiast. Its $20 for a gallon that does 128 loads.
