How to use BigD or Dakota odor bombs?

Hey guys. I've got a car that I'm doing that just absolutely reeks. Cleaning the interior helped some, but I've cleaned everything and it still smells. I think someone puked in the car, and it was never cleaned up. It was still on the back seat and under the seat as well.



I ordred a couple of BigD and Dakota odor bombs. The instructions are mostly for using them in rooms, not in a car. Should I use the whole can? Is this stuff going to spray all over the headliner, or are there any other precautions I should use with this?



Any help would be great. I'm planning on trying these tonight.

I usually use about a quarter of a can - put it on a towel, hit the switch, wait 10secs, open door slightly, hold breath, pull out bomb, close door, turn switch off, let car sit for an hour or two, air out. In your case, you might just want to let it have it with a full can, if it smells that bad. Let it sit overnight, if possible. You'll need to clean the windows and vinyl after this, if you really hit it hard. I had one car that made me sick to work in, and it took half a can to fix (2 1/4 can shots). Owners were amazed.
 
I assume I should leave the windows rolled up while doing this? Just put the bomb on the floor and let it spray for 10 seconds or so?



I guess I'd rather have to redo it if it doesn't get it all than have too much in there.



I just didn't want to mess up the interior.
