How to remove furniture polish

I washed my car late last night and so ended up drying by streetlight. I thought there was a lot a smearing when using two MF towels but I thought this was simply an effect of the lighting.

It was not. The car this morning looked terrible. Smears and marks everywhere – I was not a happy man :(

To cut a long story short, my wife had been using my towels with furniture polish :nixweiss for cleaning inside the house :scared

My question is, how do I remove all this stuff. I tried washing with Zaino shampoo but it made no difference. Any suggestions

I would use a paint cleanser. AIO, SEC, Mother's, whatever you can get your hands on. That'll take it down to the clearcoat and you can then reapply what you want.

Ugh!

I would wash it with the UK equivelant of Dawn dish soap and then reapply your wax. If it needs a polish first; do that, followed up with your top coat.

If that doesn't work, maybe clay the car, then wash again?

Or, maybe you can first try a QD with a new MF? Or try waxing over the polish and buff out with a new MF

How did your wife get into your stash of MF's??!! All my stuff is in an area that everyone knows not to go near!

How funny! you thought smearing was from the lighting! Boy were you suprised! :scared :shocked :angry
