How to remove film off my windshield?

I have my car rust proof last July and for a 2 months now I still can't get the film off my windshield. I think the film was a residue from the oil used to rustproof the car. It was done by Krown Rust.

Can someone help me?

There are a few things you can try

1) Isopropyl alcohol

2) Klasse AIO

3) Glass polish

4) I think a vinegar solution might possibly help.

I know others will come up with other solutions, but if you have any of those right now, I'd say it wouldn't hurt ot try them.

.....I tried Simple Green glass cleaner but it didn't work. I also bought a glass polish and it didn't work as well. I think I am going to try brake cleaner next or even WD40.

What is an AIO?

klasse all in one... its a polish/paint cleanser/sealant product thats popular around here. Has good cleaning abilities on most hard surfaces, including glass.

I'd be tempted to try the Autoglym glass paste, not the spray, and/or the Mr. Clean magic eraser which normally works well.

I had a nasty stain on my widshield. Nothing was taking it off, not even a rasor blade. I got some Sonus Glass Polish and used it with my little 4" pad on a drill and my glass is perfect. I gave the bottle tothe old lady and told her to get to work on the shower doors. :waxing:
