How to keep everyday driver looking new!

DetailnByDustn- Sooner or later *something* will crop up that makes you think "gee, that needs fixing...and I wonder how it happened" As you gradually sort out those issues you'll refine your process.

See how things go with the waterspots, hope it turns out OK.

How do you apply the vinegar wouldn't that hurt your paint?

Vinegar is pretty mild, it isn't going to hurt your paint. I mix it 50/50 with water in a spray bottle.

To answer your other question (keeping a daily driver looking new), regular washing, along with claying, polishing and waxing as needed is the key.

Okay, Thanks! How often do you then a personal vehicle should be clayed?

As often as it needs it, and no that's not a smart-@$$ed reply :grinno:

I spot-clay at every wash, and usually do a light claying before refreshing my LSP (both are with Sonus Ultra-fine clay). I don't do a *serious* claying very often at all any more, but if you find it's necessary then go for it.
