How to get wetter look after AJT?

Hello there,

I'm a complete newbie from Thailand. I owned a champagne 2003 toyota vios which in quite bad shape and i want to make it looked better. So i surfed for information and finally found here. A best place for a car lover! I've got TONS of useful tips for my car and couldn't be happier. Thanks all of you!

i've decided to use Prime strong/AJT on my paint and was totally impressed. It made my paint very slick with gloss & wettness. also beads like i've never seen before and sheet water very well that i could easily wipe dry after wash.....no more Nxt for me :bow

Now to the question, although i love the look of AJT a lot, i'd like to add more depth and wettness to it. what should i do?

1. top it with carnauba

2. top it with Z8

3. Danase wet glaze under it

any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks :D

What about Carnauba Jett?

Have been thinking about using it but since there's not much data for CJ here, i'm not sure whether i should use it or use a fine carnauba such as Pink wax , Natty's Red etc.

A good carnauba will make it look great.

Thanks for your reply. would u please suggest ones for me?

Since you live overseas, Megs#16 might be available there. It gets rave reviews on these forums as a carnauba. I haven't tried it yet as it isn't available here. Other top notch carnaubas are Natty's Paste Wax in white (specific to light colors), P21S, ClearKote's Carnauba Moose Wax, to name just a few.

If you have Z8, I'd give that a try. I used it to top AJ on my father's silver car, and it made a difference in depth and gloss (more so in gloss).

Optimum's Opti-Seal or Zaino Z8 will amp up the already wet look of AJT.

Scott, what's your opinion about the difference in look between Z8 and Opti-Seal?

If they looked the same, i would go to OS because i believe it has better durability.

OS has better depth, similar wetness. The "look" lasts a lot longer too. Z8 is more for a quick addition of bling, although for a spray product that isn't intended as an LSP, durability is better than I expected-about 3-4 weeks.

I think Opti-Seal is junk, it didnt do anything for me on the vehicles I tried it on. I like the look of Z8 much better although its no where near as durable. I use my OS on just rims now.
