how to get egg out of convertable top

Well my girlfriend had a Happy Halloween, someone threw an egg at her vw new beetle convertable.



I just would like to know what is the remedy to get the egg out, it seems to have already dried up a bit, would soup and water work best???

Depends on what kind of soup, won ton would be the best, creamed soups would not work too well ! Sorry could not resist that one' i am very guilty of spelling mistakes , but that is a good one.



To get the egg off, you can first remove the bulk of the egg with a dry towel, from there water and a mild soap will do the job, if you own a steamer use it, and all gone.

Speedy, egg is no laughing matter, IME. In fact, it's one of the most treacherous stains to remove. The damage can be extensive.



How long has it been sitting? Do you have a foto? What color is the soft top?

its a black top, the egg has been on since last night.



I have not had a chance to take a good look at it yet, i am at work.

You can start with your regular soap and water, agitate with a soft tipped nylon brush.



If needed, try Biokleen Bac-Out or Amazing Roll-off. Again agitate gently with a brush and allow some dwell time.

thank you everyone, i used an old tooth brush and some car soup and it all came up..
