How to edit caption under username

I gotta have more cowbell
How do I change the caption under my username? I notice some people have "Registered User" and others have custom messages.

I've looked there and it's still not obvious to me. Sorry, but I think I'm gonna need my hand held through this one.

I haven't found a way to change this one either. I know where to edit the signature, I just can't find anywhere to change the custom user text.
 
When you go to the "User CP", do you see a box at the left side of the page with several Settings and Options listed?
 
It still isn't obvious to me. Once you are at the Edit Profile screen, specifically which field do you fill out? Is it under biography?

1. Click "User CP"

2. Click "Edit Profile"

3. Look to center of screen for "Custom User Title"

That should work!

Ah ha!

We are giving the correct directions! It just appears that only admins can see the area for "Custom User Title"!

I will go adjust the permissions so everyone can do it too.

Yes! All the hard work that it took to restore the custom user titles was well worth it now that Seth has chosen to honor the FUNNIEST Saturday Night Live skit EVER!
