How to detail fiberglass tops?

I did a 99 Jeep Wrangler today that had a fiberglass top. The car turned out extremely well, but I couldn't figure what to do to add more depth to the color. I figured trim restorerer would do it, but it didn't. Tried OPP, didn't help. I ended up using Werkstatt Prime, but I wasn't too satisfied with the result.



The main concern was restoring the color on the fiberglass top. While I washed the car, I noticed there was a lot of color transfer, and I did not want to risk polishing it.

Was it just painted fiberglass? If so treat it like the rest of the car. If it was gel coated you will usually need to use something more aggressive.
