How to clean the mudflaps?

How do you clean these? I know the car is pretty dirty, but I promise you that has nothing to do with the actual mudflaps. Even right after a good wash, they look exactly like this. How can I get these to look like new again? They are made out of some kind of pastic or something... Maybe a type of rubber, even. They are easily bendable and stuff. Thanks!!

I would just wash it real well with your car wash soap and maybe and APC, then hit it with Poorboy's Trim Restore. I used that stuff for the first time last week on a Saab I did and I'm super impressed.

Clean them well first. The best rubber/tire cleaner I've found to date (and very cheap) is the Top of the Line tire cleaner (Hi-Temp) stuff. It comes concentrated with instructions to dilite 50/50. I use that on the flaps when I do the wheels and they come out really clean. Then I dress with the same tire dressing I use on the tires.

Quick, clean, simple. The cheapest products are the ones you already have.
