how often should you polish?

when you wash your cars ( on a weekly basis, i assume ), what is your finishing touch for the paint?



do you just dry it and leave it be or do you use a polish or some other finishing product??? do you use it every week or every so often?

You shouldn't need to polish every week. Generally I only polish my cars twice a year or as needed. I polish it out in the spring and again in the fall. After I polish I layer the sealants and wax on it. If you polish again then it is going to strip all the sealants and waxes off.



Usually I just add a new coat of wax every couple weeks or so. I don't break out the polish unless I've got some surface damage like swirls that I need to take care of.
