How often can you glaze?

I like the look of VM, Omega and California Clear Coat, but am not sure of how often I should apply them and how long they last. Do you apply a glaze before every sealant or wax application, or only after each polish?

You can glaze as often as you like, but keep in mind it you glaze OVER what is on your car it will only last a day (maybe). VM is more of a cleaner/polish so it will remove product (not sure about the others mentioned ) -

I know people who show cars use Meg's Show Car Glaze (gee wonder where they got the name?) to get that drippy wet look - but the oils and what not in the glaze evaporate quickly unless it is sealed or topped.

One thing I've always wonder, how much of the glaze is left when you top it off ? is there anyway we can be sure it's still there?
