How much will Klasse darken my paint?

I have just purchased the Klasse twins. I also have the full suite of zaino products. I have been using Zaino for some time now but wanted to try something diff't this time.

I recently have been reading some threads about Klasse darkening the paint. I don't mind it turning it a little darker but would hate to totally change the color of the light blue paint on my car (see pic).

Anyone have a before and after?

Should I use Zaino on this car and keep the Klasse Twins and PS21 for my dark red 300m? I hate to spend the $$ on the Klasse stuff but also would hate to turn my car from light blue to dark blue.

Thanks

This is the only before and after shot I have that really shows anything.

The Klasse is on the right side of the pic with the AIO bottle on top. That is just one coat of AIO.

I noticed a little darkening on my silver car, but it may be more "deepening." When I top Klasse w/ Souveran it is more noticeable. So I now use Klasse + P21S/S100 on my lighter colored cars and the effect is not as pronounced.

So, I guess I am actually seeing some depth which may be construed as some very minor darkening...actually, I like the effect.

Just like Jngrbrdman has shown, it adds more of a deep wet shade to your car, doesn't make it darker.

Hard to explain but the effect on flat red cars is awesome.

I did a 1/2 and 1/2 like Jngr did with my silver hood just to see how much "darkening" effect I'd get since I had read about it too. After a few coats difference I noticed a very subtle darkening effect, but it was so slight that I gave up trying to capture it on film and if I didn't know it was there I probably wouldn't have noticed.

I may not want to darken the color of the car. It's a head-turner because of the powder-blue (larkspur blue in 57) color of the car.

I may stick with Zaino, maybe. I wonder of CMA will accept the return of Klasse and PS21.

I should have done a better job of investigation

It seriously won't darken the color that much. I'd wager that on a light colored car you wouldn't even be able to tell. You are safe using Klasse. The difference isn't even noticiable unless you do half your hood and then take the picture like I did. If you put your finger on the monitor right down the line on the hood then you won't be able to tell the difference between either side.

Nothing is going to change the color of your car. No matter what product you use or how "dark" it makes you car, it is still going to be the same light shade of blue. The only thing darkening your car does is make for better reflections. Think of it as slightly tinting the suface. I've used Klasse for a long time on my white car and it is still white. :D You don't have to worry about putting Klasse on your car and then coming out to a midnight blue car the next day. :p Your car won't change colors.
