how much vinegar?

My rule of thumb is 1 tablespoon of distilled white vinegar per towel. Of course this is assuming you have the water levels set properly for the quantity in the machine, if you have a tendency to have a small load (5 towels) but have the water set to fill the tub then you need a lot more.

I like to send my towels through 2 rinse cycles. Do you add the vinegar to the final rinse?

Thanks,

John

Good info. Judging by water amount then, I imagine side loading washers require a lot less vinegar.

Justin I have a side loading washer but I set the wash to "bulky" that way their is more water and agitation to flush out all of the crud in the MF's.

I put the vinegar in the final rinse.
