How much would you charge if you are just starting to detail other peoples' cars? I'm starting off with neighbor's cars.



All steps are done by hand.



Wheels

1. Clean wells

2. Scrubs tires

3 Clean wheels

4. Dress tires





Exterior:

1. Wash

2. Clay

3. Wash

4. Dry

5. Polish PB w/carnuba

6. Seal with PB EX-P

7. Wax if requested Natty's



Interior:

Vacuum

Clean and protect Dash

Clean windows

Shampoo is extra



How much extra for vans and SUVs?
 
Have you given any though to just doing their car for free?



When I started my own mobile detailing business over eighteen years ago I actually detailed my neighbor's car for free. That's what got me thinking about going into business. Now I do a lot of my neighbors vehicles for free. I guess I never forgot how it all got started.
 
Doing your neighbors cars for free--or a nominal materials cost - also could go a long way towards keeping things friendly should you start doing cars in your home garage.



It's probably not legal to bring other people's cars to your home and work on them....detailing is included in that...but the way people get tripped up on that is the neighbors complaining.



If you're tasteful about it ..and they get services for minimal cost...chances are you'll never have a problem!
