How much PwC & EX do I put on PC pad?

Getting ready to use PC to apply PwC and EX. Qeustion: How much of each do I put on the pads (I'm using Edge 2000 pads)? Based on how much I put on the pad how much area can it cover before applying more to the pad. Can I do, say, a door panel on a Tahoe with 2 or 3 dime size squirts on the pad before reloading? Any help would be appreciated because I don't want to use too much product and have it smear or make it difficult to remove.

Best thing to keep in mind is 99% of people use more than needed. Prob only 1% don't use enough product. Try less than you think is needed and that should be about right.
 
I like putting a thin line around the pad about a half inch away from the outer edge...tap it on the panel to be done ..place the pc on the panel and start the machine on #1 then start to increase speed...4-5 should be good for the PwC and around 2-3 for the EX..:D yes use less as stated above you can always add more:bigups
 
Yes, this is true wife. That's why I'm trying to get an understanding or a base/starting point of how much to use and go from there. Example would it 2 dime size drops of PwC on the pad? 3 dime size drops of EX on the pad??
 
problem with drops is that is does not cover the pads completely...I always use thin lines:)

That is exactly how I do it. I hate the dot method cause like you stated it does not cover well.
 
I use bottles with yorker caps (tapered nozzles). They allow me to dispense very thin lines of product. You can commonly find them at container, plastic, and beauty supply vendors. Here is an example - Yorker Caps
 
To get a really nice and even line around the pc... try this out.


Hold the pc upside down in one hand, spin the pad with your other hand (it doesnt have to be going super fast), and then pick up the product and slowly let it stream onto the pad. You will get a perfect circle all the way around.

I usually end up slinging it all over myself with this proceedure. :lmfao
