How much product

I am gonna make a few orders wednesday after next, I am gonna do a few (5 or 6) freebie details on my buddies cars just to get my techniques and to practice with the pc. I figure after doing my buddies cars then doing my parents cars I should be over a few weekends I should get the hang of it. My question is how many details can you expect to get out of the medium sized bottles of Poorboy's PwC and EX-P, most of my friends either have the big body Impala's or Explorer's ,Montero's, and X-Terra's.

P.S.-After I get their cars looking good I am planning on offering to clean up their cars for them each weekend for like $20. Just Wash, Dry, Clean up the wheels, and wipe down the Interior.

Are you using the PwC by hand or machine? In the 16oz bottles of PwC, I can do only 8-10 cars, but when polishing by machine I tend to do a little more than necessary.
With EX-P, you should get 20 cars out of a 16oz bottle.

I agree with Brenton. That is what you should do. Since you admitted to being new, if you are like me, you most likely will use to much product. More is not always better. Keep that in mind when you first start. It might help to get another bottle to place your product in. Start out with the amount that you think will be required. It is easier to gage this way. I know that a full bottle invites a more liberal application of product.

Have fun learning how to handle the PC. Let us know how you fair on your marketing plan. Take pictures and post the results.

I would tend to agree with the two previous posts. most people use too much product for the job. I like the idea from cwcad of putting your product into a smaller ( maybe 8 ounce ) container. this way you will notice product usage by the ounce. just my way of looking at my usage. I guage it by ounces. I have two SUV'S and a truck and you would be suprised how far an ounce will go. feel free to PM me with any questions you may have. I feel you are off to a good start :)
