In my business, I don't really give them the option. Un less they ask. I chard $165 for a detail. That includes wash, clay, compound, seal, polish, or wax, whatever combo is required. Also the normal interior, wheels, windoes... blah, blah, blah. Then again, I pretty much only do BMW, and Porsche club guys, and money seems to matter very little to these guys.

All my details include clay....I charge $200 plus.....I only offer one kind of detail so everything is included except motors those are $50 more

I've developed a great reputation here with my customers and that has now spilled over into the word of mouth thing...I went up from $150 to $200 this year....I do way to much work in compared to the other shops that are around me not to get at least the same amount...not one customer has said a thing to me about it
