How Many Zaino Users?

I have used Zaino many of times in the past with my 350Z. I just traded in my Z for a Black Lightning and it came with scratches all over. I have been talking to people on the treads for awhile now and have brought acouple different products like Poorboys and Clearkote. I like these products some what but they do not hold up like Zaino does. Anybody with a Black car using Zaino and have before and after shots of it on there cars? Does it work well at hiding swirls? I know it worked good on my silverstone Z, but have never seen it on black.

I've used many different products on black and they all look great when the proper prep work is performed. The Z2 Pro/Z8 combo is one of my favorites (on any color).

Zaino Z5 has *slight* filling properties, but it won't make up for a lack of prep work by any means.

This car received Menzerna PO85rd, Z2 Pro, and Z8:

Like Zane said.....Prep is everything prior to anything...This car is a local & national winner. Prior to the show I used fusion & then 2 coats of Z5.....

I like Zaino (especially Z8) but I don't *love* Zaino or really any sealant, including my favorite, Acrylic Jett on solid black paint. Even though carnaubas don't last as long that is the look I prefer.

I do think Z5 looks terrific on metallic black though, I have been using it on a customer's BMW M Coupe for a few months now. Stays very slick and looks awesome. I should be doing it again on Saturday (weather permitting) and I'll post up some pics if you would like. :)

Used Z2, Z5 and Z2PRO on my solid black Z28. Looked great and like brand new after 10 years (garage queen ;) ). Like Zane stated, if you prep properly Z5, Z2PRO and Z8 will compete with any LSP type in appearance. I will post a picture of the Z28 tomorrow from my work computer file.

My wife would not let me apply anything else to her LS400 after I did a Zaino beta test on it with Z2PRO. It was also solid black.

Zane and Terry, those solid black C6 and Lexus look great and a great example of what Z can look like on black. :xyxthumbs

Can you camoflage usage and washing damage easily with Zaino in comparison with carnauba. Not easily. Nevertheless, with meticulous care and the usage of Z5 periodically and Z8 weekly, one can still look great. Z5 and Z8 work great at hiding micromarring created in the established Z2Pro coat from washing and QD'ing. :geez

Z5/Z2Pro combo seems pretty popular on darks. I also like Tropicare XP on darks-very liquid looking. Either one would look great but Zaino will bead longer.

Z5 hides nothing IMO. After you prep the car with poor boys, or any other good swirl remover then if you must use zaino IMO.... Used both on my red and gold cas. never really provided the look I wanted on it's own, always had to top and do great prep work to truly benefit.

I'm mostly using Zaino exclusively now but I continue to play with new products. I like the Z-2Pro plus Z-8 look more than AIO+Souveran on my highly metallic silver.

Z-5 is great at hiding swirls. I just did a moderately swirled F-150 in black and it looks like a carnauba job with a polishing stage, somewhat like Souveran.

Interesting. I've noticed little to no hiding of fine swirls and scratches on that M Roadster. Nothing you don't see without some harsh, direct light either. Probably going to hit it with Optimum, Prime, Z6 and Z5 the next time I do it anyway so any filling capabilities won't matter anyway. ;)

I do like how well Z5 is holding up on that car-and it isn't a garage queen either.

i have used zaino products personally for about 6 years now and am more than pleased. the few clients i have used it on have be amazed. now that i am going mobile and fulltime, i am going to consider using it on high profile vehicles and obviously as a way to charge more (for a better product). otherwise i will stick with what i can get in town for the average customer.

I was surpised at first how it hid the swirls on the F-150 at least partially. It seems to mute the "spiderweb" effect quite a bit. After applying Z-8 it was even better. These weren't monster swirls but enough to notice in light.
