I use them while working with while spraying wheel cleaner and degreasers and cleaning the interior of a car. You never know what people have done in their cars and then your touching it lol :)

Blue nitrile gloves all the time. Interiors, washing, wheels and applying dressing. The gloves are especially great when you reach in the wheel to work around in the areas the spoke brushes don't reach. Learned that from your wheel guide Sean! I do take them off when using the PC as your hands to sweat in them. I bought mine at Costco for around $8.95 for a box of 100. They really hold up, I used one pair around 10 times until I had a puncture in one finger. Your hands stay clean and grease free and no worries about cuts.

I have always used gloves since the beginning. I despise my hands getting dirty. Nevertheless, I have tried many latex gloves before, some from the dermatologist too. But, the ones that seem to have been the longest lasting, meaning the ones that took longer to rip, were the Mr. Clean orange gloves with the bumps in the palm which aid in gripping things. Best of all, these Mr. Clean gloves seem to be most resistant to sticking to my clay bars. All other gloves annoyingly stick to clay bars often. I haven't tried those blue nitrile gloves though...

I do sometimes, not all the time. I prefer the blue nitrile gloves over latex. Nitrile is much more chemical resistant than latex, plus some people actually develop latex allergies over time from repeated exposure to latex (not everyone will, but some people do). My wife's a nurse and they pretty much only use nitrile gloves anymore (mainly because of patient's latex allergies, though).

Plus my hands don't sweat in the blue nitrile gloves!

Thanks to all the auto/cleaning chemicals + water stripping off essential oils off my hands I always end up having dry wrinkly finger tips (even to a point of skin peeling) after detailing and it doesn't seem to heal any faster even when i apply moisturiser after a days work. Not that i'm a wuss but becos of that my sense of touch has been greatly reduced. And it's juz as important as sense of sight when we are examining our client cars & even our women amongst other things :p But Thanks to this tread... I got my hands on the Nitrile Tough Task gloves.

They are excellent...Powder free..Latex free..Chemical and Puncture Resistant Gloves. One Size fits all..comes in a pack of 24..for only a meesly $4 from Woolworths (that's in Australia for you Aussies out there). hehe 3 x more resistance to cuts, abrasions and tears than latex / vinyl gloves. oh btw they are by Hercules (brand). I think this is 1 investment worth looking into...look like a pro and worth a treat to your hands.

After using them my fingers now stays cleaner (grease and chem free) and back to it's normal healthySelf :D + I'll reuse em a few times until i put a hole through it. dam those nails hehe :p Now where's the nail cutter.....

I buy a box of 100 from Auto Magic for $5. I use them for wheel work mostly, especially during tire shines. Really makes for easy cleanup-throw away after one use.
