How many towels does everyone own?

WAY TOO MANY!!

Need a seperate washer/dryer so wife doesn't moan when I wash them.

"So what's wrong with the smell of wax on some of the clothes?":-p

Deanski

I've actually been scanning the classifieds for just that reason. :D

Man I sorta want a sink in my garage and maybe 7 meters of extension for my garage! More storage / equipment! :LOLOL

I just had a new washer delivered a few minutes ago. The old one conked out 3 weeks after the warranty expired. :angry The repair folks said that it would cost at least $600 just to take it apart to look at it with no guarantee that they would even be able to fix it. :nono So, we bought a new one instead (with the extended maintenance agreement this time  ).

BTW - I normally keep between 75 and 100 microfiber towels for my own personal use. I also have a couple dozen cheap cotton towels for grunge work.

:LOLOL awd330, you must have the same repair guy that came out to my house... cost me 40 bucks for him to tell me it would be $800 for a new clutch assembly (it was a commercial front loader) -- so I rushed out and bought a new set (washer & dryer) just to please the wifey.

Later I took the old one into a shop just for a second opinion and it turned out all it needed was a new three dollar & fourty-nine cent switch. :wall

Well, my washer is one of those big front loaders as well (Kenmore Elite HE3t, made by Bosch I think). I prefer the front load design (had a Maytag Neptune too) as I think they rinse more cleanly and are less abrasive to the fabric without the agitator.

They sent out a total of 3 repairmen over a 10 day period, and they all agreed that something heavy and metal (like a bolt) had somehow lodged itself inside the drum assembly. You can hear it rolling around and impeding the drum from spinning. Unlike a top load, the entire machine apparently needs to disassembled to see what's going on there. There would be a minimum of a half day labor for 2 people just to take the machine apart and put it back together. They could not give an estimate for parts because they wouldn't know what the problem was until they took it apart. :(

I'm doing my first load of laundry with the new machine now. It is a load of cotton work towels and wash mitts. If all goes well, a load of MF towels will be next. :)

In excess of 300 MF's, all for my own personal use, mine, mine, mine. I'm addicted to these damn towels. Have been impressed with the quality of towels from VaporClean.

TWELVE!!!! I'm going to need a few more than that, like maybe a hundred or so!! Sorry I'm a chronic repeat offender!! Just ask the Queen of the house.

Tralfaz, what MF do you have from VaporClean? I'm interested in their MF for around the house and possibly the car.

I have some of everything they have. My favs are the ultraplush, thick, plush, soft, I have not found anything that compares to this towel yet.

Window towels are great, waffle weave towels are very good.

Everything I have gotten from them has been awesome in quality.

The MF's at Costco are great for the price, I have probably 10 dozen of those and I really like them, however they are not of the same quality of the ones from Vaporclean. You will be happy with anything you order from them. I just happen to like the thicker towels more because they seem to hold up longer etc.

Almost forgot the MF applicator sponges Vaporclean sells are awesome, no exposed stiching. They are ideal for almost any job.

So you would say the Ultra Plush or Ultra Soft are really good? Along with the Original Big Blue WW and WW there? MF Apps look plain, but interesting.

Ultra plush are great. The MF apps. look plain but are my favorite for applying waxes etc. You will be glad you got them.

Ultra Soft any good? I will probably buy either one, they look the best of both of em. Dunno about the Split Fibers, but XMas is coming... I'm ready lol

You will be happy with those. The quality of the MF is really good, holds up very well to chemical abuse and washing.
