I am learning about how to detail my car from this board. So far, got a good rotary polisher, and a PC 7424, and various accessories. I am also storing up polishes, glass cleaners, etc. etc. I really look forward to washing my own car on the weekend. I really like the CWB for drying (then I use my leaf blower to get in between the cracks). Anyway, I never thought I would enjoy it so much. I am not quite ready to polish yet, since I want to get a junk hood from a junkyard and try it out.
I have a question though about cleaning windows. I want to know how many cloths I should use for the entire car windows? it is a four door compact toyota. Should I use microfiber? Terry cloth? I definitely don't use paper towels. is it "the more towels the better?" I have used several glass cleaners (stoner invisible, meguiars nxt, windex, alcohol) but for me the 1 grand seems to be the best. I also have one of those windows wizards. So what is the concensus on glass cleaning? what's the right way to do it? I really would like some advice.
Thanks.
Jack.
