How many QD's between wash is ok?

I washed my car on Saturday afternoon, so of course on Sunday it rains.... One of those 20min summer rains that just leaves water spots all over....



So I get home Sunday and QD the car w/ Griot's... Lovely, good as new. So then it rains again today....:mad: Water spots all over again....



So my question is, can I QD it again? Or is that too much and I should just wash it. I'm lazy. I'd like to do as little as possbile :p but of course not at the risk of scratches/damage...



please advise??:D
 
You can QD as much as you like. The judgment call is determining if there is too much dust on the surface. Here in OK sometimes the rain picks up dirt and dust floating in the air on the way down. You may think it was just water, but it also contained contaminates. Likewise if you park under a tree and it rains, the leaves will have dirt on them, which will be carried to the vehicles finish by the water.



If you don't see excess dust or dirt then QD, otherwise a wash is called for.
