How many people run without the PC handle?

I don't even understand why the PC has a handle, it transmits so much vibration...

I just took the handle off and I use my hand on the head of the unit now.

No handle for me. When I first got the PC I used the handle but got tired of it getting in the way and having to take it on and off.

The PC was originally designed as (and most of them are still sold as) a sander. Side handles are ubiquitous on sanders.

I prefer to polish without it.

PC.

interesting, i would think most would have formed a habit with it on....."just a thought"

i dont use it,reason i was first shown the pc from mike p @ meguiars a long time ago without a handle so i practice that way and it feels like second nature.....

I use the handle for the convenience factor as I detail outdoors and find the handle useful to keep pads off the ground. I sourced bolts for each side to remove the handle and keep the plastic handle from vibrating and enjoyed it, but the convenience factor of the handle works for me - with a bolt on the other side of the housing to reduce vibration.

I still use the handle. I just started using the PC a few weeks ago and I'm just a bit more comfortable with it on. Once I get some more experience maybe I'll remove it and give it a try.
