Hi,

I was just wondering how many ounces of product you all use on different grades of damage to cars....

specifically polish and wax...

For instance, I am just throwing a number out, for a moderately swirled car I use __ Ounces of 105 and ___ ounces of 205 and ___ ounces of LSP.

Now i realize it si HIGHLY dependent on paint softness and the extent of damage, but say in the middle of hte best and the worst. Or if youre feeling ambitious you can just label it how you want.

Thanks all, a beginner just trying to figure out if I am using too much.

If you're a beginner, you're using too much.

Rule of thumb, 1 oz of polish for an average size car. LSP about the same for an OTC liquid, less if you're talking about something like Zaino or Klasse or a WOWA.

True. 1 oz. I always used about 2 oz until I discovered that the PAD works better with less polish.

Especially true with the first generation of Optimum polishes where the work comes from the pad; as Bence likes to point out, too much polish and the pad will float on the polish and not cut.
