How many microfibers or DF Towels do I need for LSP removal for a medium sized car like a Pontiac Grand Prix. Having used cotton towells from the fieldcrest outlet store, time for a new batch so will be ordering from DeWayne or Excelldetail.

Have used many different products but settled on Zaino The cotton seems to glide over the Z better than the MF's though thats partly due to the way they are made.

So how much damage to the pocket book LOL

Thanx in advance, mongo

I remove nuba' based paste LSPs using one 16x16 MF. I fold it in quarters and use both sides.

i use either 2 Perfect Shine Buffing Cloths from CMA, or 2 Micropak Ultra-Fine Towels from Pakshak. 1 for LSP removal and 1 more for final buffing. i try to keep my towel count to as many as necessary. quality MF tends to be expensive.

All depends on how much LSP you apply. I'd get more towels than you think you'll need in case something happens. If you somehow get one contaminated you'll be glad you bought extras.

You can never have enough MF... :woot2:

I use 2 MF's for LSP removal, 2 MF's for glass cleaning, 2 MF's for removing the buffing and polishing residue and 2 MF's for QD'ing .

I figured I would need at least eight to ten for removal of zaino, as for QD one to spread then an additional three or four to wipe up.

Have used Klasse twins before but showed every swirl and swirled easy UPP was fairly good. No problems with Zaino as long as I use cotton wasmitt and towels.

I have decided to call Kevin the Tennessee dealer of Zaino since living in Alabama to oreder some of his supina like towels that he surged. Then oredering some DFtowels from DF since their lighter would be easier on the paint for QD's also order a grit guard from them also several DF wash mitts was going to order sheepskin will ask Kevin what he uses.

Also need some DFtowels for use of ZFusion cleaner to used by hand

Zaino is lots better to me than Klasse. Ron Ketchum at Autoint said to me not to use Klasse AIO on my paint!

Ron Ketchum did not go into details as why nor I did not press him either. He was clear not not to use Klasse AIO.

I used 5 ultra plush Pakshaks last night applying two coats of EX toa 2006 Tribeca. 4 for LSP removal and one for a finnal buff.

I just put another coat of LSP on my 2004 Tribute and used the newly revised Elite 16x16 MF towel from Microfiber-Tech. In the past with the old Elites I would use 2-3 towels for taking off and buffing the truck. I used only one of new Elite towels to remove and buff out the LSP on my Tribute. very nice towel and I like it a little better than the old Elite's but let's see how long these hold up. my old Elite MF's are over 2 years old and they look/work like new. I hope that I get the mileage out of these new Elite MF's.
