I’m a hobbyist and own a Cyclo and PC. I purchase the PC first but found it to be slow and wanted something just a little more aggressive without the dangers of rotary. To me the Cyclo is the equivalent of two PC one in each hand with about 20% more power using 4 inch pads. The operation is a lot smother and even with the added bulk the Cyclo is a breeze to use. If I was pro I would probably master the rotary but just a weekend warrior I will stick with the Cyclo. I just purchased the Edge pads for the Cyclo but haven’t had the chance to use it yet but I will say just turning the machine on it has very little vibration. I now use the PC to put RMG on with!
I use a Cyclo, and while I don't use it exclusively, I feel that I use it a majority of the time. It's a lot more efficient in removing marring than the PC without the risks of using a tool you are not qualified to use, such as a rotary.
