How long will this last????

I'm trying to figure out how long this combo will last.

Wash, AIO, EX-P x 3 coats (all on consecutive days)

Car is two years old, in great condition.

Daily Driver. Hawaii weather 85-90 degree sun. Covered parking at night, parked in the sun day time. Rains about 3 times a week.

How long should i expect this combo to last? Does the AIO step help the EX-p to last longer? Thanks!
 
Well from my experience EX and EXP dont really bead but sheet so that can make it hard to tell what is there. Sheeting is nice as it tends to not leave dirty rain spots. Durablilty will depend on how you upkeep the car as well.

for longevity of the EX-P , i would suggest skipping the AIO and putting the EX-P directly on the paint...AIO contains an acrylic and is considered a one step product by some and would be the primary protectant with the EX-P only sitting on top of it. Sealants work and last longest if they are on the finish themselves.

I think it can be a great base for some sealants and also depending on the expectations you are looking for whether its looks ie "POP" or Longevity or clarity , or depth ...the base product can be a helperor a hinderance...

for SG and UPP which are both acrylics the AIO has proven to be a great base as it is also an acrylic ....for Zaino it would be a nono ....for the original versions of EX and EX-P , there were very few problems, butthe newer version seem to be a bit more finicky for SOME people when a base is used.

Best case scenario : you do it and it lasts you 3-6 months depending on maintenence as Greg said...

Worst Case scenario: you get 2-4 months and you may have to go out in that beautiful Hawaiin sunshine and do it again...

I think being in Hawaii...you have a winning deal any which way we all look at it:)
 
Durability and/or protection is influenced by a "bazillion" factors. So, it's impossible to tell. Besides, I doubt anyone really can measure when a product is truly "not protecting" anymore? :dunno

Try the product... if you like it and feel it's protecting the paint long enough for you... be happy with it, or try something else.
