How long to QEW

Im just curious how long it takes you guys, pros and noobs(like me) to QEW a car. I did my ranger tonight and FD in 30 min. I was pretty happy. The funny part is how many people look at you in a college parking lot (more like 3 football fields) full of cars, and your sitting there washing it with no water. There like WTF! I just smile and keep on goin. Hey, maybe ill pick up some girls!:D

The very first time I used QEW, it took about 40 minutes....

But I really didn't know the proper technique. Now I use it at least 4 times a week (I have 4 cars), and it takes 15-20 minutes per car.

I love the stuff!

I would much rather use QEW than a hose, bucket and car wash soap...........

I'm still a noob with QEW. First time took me like 1 and 1/2 hour because I was going extra slow, it was in the dead of winter and I was in a cramped garage. I can get now get it done inside an hour. It's not any faster (for me) than a regular wash.

I can knock out my own car (and other similar sized cars) in 15-20 minutes and 20-40 for larger vehicles, depending on the size and how dirty they car. Excursion, Suburbans and full sized vans obviously take the longest.

My QEW arrived a week ago, and I have already used it several times. Tonight I washed our new Lexus RX 330 and our Mazda Tribute, and the total time was less than 35 minutes. I love this stuff, and the lack of mess I now create. If it wasn't for this incredible forum I never would have discovered this great product.

About 20 minutes for me also. But one thing I don't like is using QEW for cleaning wheels. I am still much faster with a hose and conventional soap. I guess I am a little paranoid about the brake dust.

I agree and add tires to that list. For cleaning the brake dust from our Volvo, QEW performs "worse than average". Luckily in most cases I have access to water/hose and we have more warm weather than cold. This allows me to reserve my QEW for door jambs and the garage door (painted steel).

Another ProtectAll product, the Polish does shine those wheels nicely once they are cleaned. It is not long lived, but is "Quick and Easy" to apply and remove. It doesn't receive near the coverage as its sibling QEW, but is a capable product.

20 minutes for the paint, then another 10 for cleaning my bbs, they are a pita. but the qew works well on brake dust.

It takes me around 15-20 minutes for my Tracker (Small SUV)!!:bow For my customer's vehicles, it normally takes about the same time for cars and a extra 10-20 minutes more for larger vehicles.
