how long should i leave these on?

4 hours of hark work today and i fully (almost..i missed interior windows but too tired to go back to it now...) detailed my car! the 845 is so easy to use, i'm very surprised at how well it spread...it goes on like butter and wipes off easy too.....it doesn't seem to go on like a "wax", more like a thin layer of oil...i love it, my car's glistening and the reflection is awesome (even though it's silver!)....so glad I tried it

reyo- Glad it went so well! Despite all this "don't bother layering" talk, I'd give it a second coat of 845 after the next regular wash.

Yes I'm planning to do that! I used to wax monthly cuz everything I used were so weak but I'm sure I won't be doing that with the 845. Oh yeah, took your word for it and tried on my trim/window....love it...no more rainx for me ;)

Glad the 845 worked to your satisfaction in that regard, almost always does for me but you just never know.

You might still want/need to redo the 845 monthly; on some vehicles I do, on others I don't :nixweiss

Yeah I will study how well it holds through weekly washing and decide how long I should rewax.

Did SRP make much of a difference in the looks?

It hides very minor "swirls" (I wouldn't say scratches bc it didn't hide any).....it makes the car very glossy and smooth and offer some protection as well since it's more of an AIO than a polish. But after I'm done I think I'mgoing to try KAIO instead as SRP isn't very cheap as an OTC.

David Fermani- I'd be interested to hear what you think of SRP should you ever try it. Yeah.."just another AIO, all have their pros and cons" I suppose, but on some vehicles I simply *LOVE* the stuff.

I've been casually working on doing a review of SRP and will post it soon. Stay tuned.

Ah, it'll be ineresting to see what you think of it, even if we end up agreeing to disagree :D
