I am wondering because i want to use this for the winter months

Also is Klasse AIO a sealant / Wax too

And last, what will work REALLY well by hand on swirl marks?

Hello,

On its own KAIO will last about 3-4 week depending on weather etc. It isnt the greatest looking product but makes an ok foundation for applying other products on too.

PB EX with Nuba is a nice product, in the cooler, wetter climate of the UK it will last about 6-7 weeks. If your enduring a long a harsh, winter i would say look at Collinite 845 IW or Megs #16 as they both last longer.

Swirl removal by hand is hard, but you can hide them very well with a product like Autoglym Super Resin Polish. Think of it as the Allied version of klasses AIO but with swirl hiding abilities. You can then top it with Autoglyms EGP or any of the other non cleaning waxes on the market. I think Autopia sell AG products in the USA.

KAIO is a pretty good paint prep and will work well under EX. It will not remove swirl marks though, it is more of a chemical cleaner and leaves some acrylic protection.

Another case of YRMV, but I can get 3-4 months of EX over AIO.

Ok, so can i place, something like

AIO - EX - Zymol Cleaner wax (love the stuff for some reason)

Or can i not layer them?

you cannot layer cleaner wax(es), as the cleaners will remove anything that is already on the vehicle. You can put multiple coats of pure waxes or sealants, but some would argue whether they actually "layer" or not.

Also, what should i be looking at for the swirls

A swirl remover polish or compound. There are literally thousands of threads/reviews on these products and while some may be better than others, most come down to personal preference.

Its well worth remebering that by hand its almost impossible to remove. Your best off getting a machine or hiding them for which i have advised one of the best products already.

get a glaze polish of your liking and top it with poorboys EX

by hand you are not going to be doing much unless you can move your arm really fast for a long time...therefore, I mentioned a glaze polish like clearkotes RMG...it has good hiding ability and its literally like butter to wipe on and off...

if you want to stay with the pooryboys line of products, try EX-P. it's a pure sealant, that goes on/off easy, smells good, and can be layered. red moose glaze topped with a couple layers of ex-p is a pretty good, by hand, process. also i would recomend trying danase wet glaze, i'd like to but i've already got a few bottles of rmg.

I'd choose something else other than EX for winter protection.

I agree

If you want to stay in the Poorboy's lineup, I've had better durability with EX-P. Only thing is you have to watch your trim as it will stain it pretty badly from my experiences. If not you can get some Klasse SG or one of the other dozens of sealants out there.
