You should let any fresh paint offgas.. The length of time depends on the paint used but anywhere from 30 to 60 days.. You can polish though after the first couple of days....
I should have given you guys more detail. I really wanted to clay bar, dawn wash, the apply Zaino to the car. Would thhis be OK or should I wait 30 - 60 days to be safe.
Personally, I wouldn't do any of the things you mentioned for a while, until the paint has had a chance to cure. I would wash with Z7, and QD with Z6, and just keep the paint clean for a while.
For new paint, 2 to 3 weeks and you're ready for Zaino polishes. The same does not apply to most other waxes though, because Zaino can expand and contract along with the surface. It's recommended that you not use any abrasives on new paint for about 60 days or so...
