is it a good deal or not?

and whats PSA pad?

thx happy detailing

The price is good but I wonder what they actually replaced and checked out on the unit. to many times reconditioned may mean parts were checked but not replaced. were the bearings changed or just cleaned, same with any of the electrical componets. if it were me I would save up and buy a new one, if you can. this way it has no wear on it at all and you have a warranty for a little while. pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) pad is the one that comes with the unit. you can use it to sand ... like who would use it for that ? :chuckle:

thx for the quick reply.

You are welcome. hope somebody else chimes in here to see what they think. if not looks like we have our own thread :hifive: have you checked Lowe's locally for a PC ? you would save on the shipping.

I'm not quite sure about reconditioned PC's, but I'm always iffy about it if it's hardware. It's a pretty decent price, but an extra $40 will buy you a sense of security.

I bought mine off Amazon for $120 - 10% = $108 with free shipping. They don't have the 10% off hardware anymore. There's a $25 off $150 promo though, but not sure if that will help.
