process:



TW ice car was w/ wool mitt

wheels cleaned via black magic wheel cleaner and car wash w/ wool mitt

dried with MF



1 pass Pinnacle XMT #3 via orange pad

1 pass Pinnacle XMT carnuba glaze via black pad

Sealed w/ Megs #21 via black pad



the whole process took about 5-6 hours



i noticed when my car was in the full sun, i had some extremely light marring on my hood, and on other areas... should i have hit it with a white pad and XMT #1?

oh and in case you notice and are wondering, the rear suspension is still stock, i havent had the time to put the new stuff on. the fronts are lowered on eibachs and tokico blues

im excited to polish up my moms 07 rdx. its that dark blue color. she got a dealership wash and oil change, so now theres lovely marring all over it.



but for my car... im thinking im going to go over it a couple passes w/ XMT #1 with a white pad...
 
As for your marring you were talking about. Yes, using the XMT#1 to refine the surface would prevent any marring and finish prepping the surface for sealer/wax. Nice detail
 
haha at first when i saw the first picture i thought that was your garage floor and that you had somehow put a glossy surface on it. that is until i noticed the antenna :lol :cool:
