How does Mothers Carnuba paste wax compare to P21 and others??>

I have a tub of Mothers. I'm comparing a bunch of paste waxes. I found a nice little trick with Mothers that makes it so much easier. Simply spray a light mist of your favorite QD on the panel before wiping on the wax. It makes it go on like butter. The shine is very rich and deep. Seems to handle multiple layers pretty well.

Do you think that this method will work with all paste wax or only mothers? Just 1 question ... which a QD being mixed into the wax ... won't it cause the wax to be hazy like when water is mix into it ?

My biggest issues with Meguires and Mothers carnubas are they seem to leave a slight white film over top of the paint. Something to the affect that it colored the paint a bit, even though there are no traces of the product left to wipe off. I found this out on my 96 black Cobra after waxing.



Do these products still lighten car paint, or do all carnubas lighten paint? I know synthetics like gels don't.

Maybe you ought to buy the 'comparison-chart' and find out.

i'v tried mother and s100 .

s100 easier to apply and don't have to wait long to buff it,while mother little bit harder to apply and buff.

s100 shine more.while mother have a good shine and darken the color atleast on my car.

mother is cheaper and can be found almost everywhere espically at pepboys, they almost have all mothers line.

durability mother hold up good but can't talk for s100 yet just tried it last week.

i like them both and espacially mother QD it smalls good .lol
