How does everyone apply tire dressing?

I use these with latex gloves . . .

I keep Armor All in an air tight screw down container with a kitchen sponge.

I wring out the sponge and wipe on the tire and then put back the sponge and close up the container.

Or I use aerosol tire shine from No Touch. 4 pack at Costco for $8.

I spray on some AA Original, and then let it sit for 15 or more minutes while I dry the vehicle. After letting the product dwell, I go over it with the yellow megs application sponges, which I get at a paint shop for like 4 for $5. If I want less shine, then I just use an old terry wash cloth. Just depends.... :)

I pReFer Using the new vroom tire dressing. I spray each tire lightly then let it sit for a minute or two, then wipe off the excess and spray on another layer and again wipe off the excess (using either a foam applicator or clean towel):up

I use this applicator from TOL, sounds like it may be very similar to Griot's, works best on 50-series tires or larger especially those with a sidewall that is not "clean" (smooth).

I can apply just the right amount of dressing, no sling, and my hands stay clean.

Ouch $9.95! Seriously check out a Dollar Store in your area. The applicators with the hamdle are excellent.:D

Yes my Dollar Store used to have a foam applicator with a rubber handle. I think I bought like 10 of them. They are not the best for low profile tires but work great on larger truck and normal sized tires.

I use a 3" foam paint brush to paint/apply the 303. Wipe dry with a MF after 20-30 minutes. I would mist the tire first then use the brush to spread quickly before any runs occur. No need to 303 the street.

I then use another FPB (Foam Paint Brush) to paint/apply the Megs Tire Gel as a topper to the 303.

I do have RWL ( raised white letters ) and the brush helps cover all the letters with a minimal of waste which off course reduces the "sling" factor.
