How do you treat a fabric top? (not convertible)

This weekend I will be detailing a Lincoln Town Car that has an exterior black fabric top and C pillars. I'm figuring I can use my PB SS through my foam gun for cleaning, but what could I use to treat it afterwards? Or does it need to be treated at all?

I don't have any stuff for convertible tops, so can something else be used?

curious as well, we have a Towncar with red fabric, and haven't found anything that might bring back the color a little. Have protectant/cleaner but they don't do really anything as far as making it less faded etc.

Are you sure it's fabric? It could very well be vinyl. I know the convertible top on my car looks exactly like fabric, but it is in fact vinyl.

So, first I would confirm the material it's made from. Then I would treat it just like a convertible top. Just because it doesn't fold up doesn't mean you shouldn't care for it the same way. My favorite for convertible tops is Ragg Topp. They make one kit for vinyl tops and another for fabric tops. 303 products are also very popular. Again, they make one product for vinyl (aerospace protectant) and also one for fabric.

Only thing I can reco is a lint brush for removing the lint on the roof. My family used to have a couple of lincolns with the carriage roof. Didn't really require anything other then lint removal. If you don't have a lint brish, you can use some wide masking tape.

Do you know of anything that will restore the color back, our Towncar is silver with the red carriage fabric that's kinda faded?

I read about something carried at RV stores, called renevo or something like that?
