How do you polish the black painted pieces around doors and windows?

My wife has a Nissan Murano and has these black painted pieces around the outside of the windows and doors, also her side mirrors are the same material. I remember that this stuff can be easily damaged with too aggressive of a polish? Is this correct and should I stick with a mild product like SFP or VM or maybe Scratch X?

Or would a product with more checial cleaning/ight scratch removal be more appropriate?

How would you go about cleaning these?

Thanks for any help

I have a few black/grey coloured plastic parts on my car and I have found that Meguairs Cleaner Polish brings it up beautifully.

AIO should work also

Since you mentioned AIO, would Scratch X work, doesn't it do most of its stuff through chemical cleaning?

Not worried about durability just cleaning/polishing?

It has some fine scratches on it but nothing major.

Not true. ScratchX has abbrasives that do the work (remove a minute amount of clearcoat). It has been likened to Poorboy's SSR2 in terms of aggresiveness.

I'm wondering are these pieces painted plastic or something and would a plastic cleaner be more appropriate?

I see these on alot of cars so anyone familiar with the Murano and these pieces?

Thanks
