How do you guys feel about repainted surface?

I am real anal about my paint but sometimes things happen that we just cant avoid. My car recently got keyed and i have no option but to repaint it, i really wish not to because i feel that it wont match up the same and nothing is like the OEM paint job.

Find a good shop with a good painter. It's possible for repaints/repairs to turn out incredibly well. It's not, however, all that common so be careful who you let do the work.



If it doesn't match, don't pay them until it does. Be sure to make your position perfectly clear before contracting for the work. Repainting properly is a pretty big deal, and a lot of shops will try to cut corners and/or make excuses about why things don't turn out right.
