How do you apply RMG or VMG by hand?

I have searched endlessly but haven't found an answer.

If you are applying Clearkote Red Machine Glaze or Vanilla Moose Glaze by hand, what is your preferred method?

Do you simply wipe it on or do you try to buff it in?

Are they wipe-on wipe-off like #7?

Do you let them cure?

Do you do panel by panel?

Do you apply to the whole car and then wipe off?

Clearkote's website is no help, and Scottwax has lots of great insight on using them on this forum, but unfortunately, only talks about applying them by machine.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've applied VM by hand, I do the whole vehicle and then come back, wait a few minutes and take off.

Both are awesome products :) I apply VMG with a damp M/F applicator, and buff a thin layer over the paint. I allow it to stand for a couple of minutes before buffing off. I usually work panel by panel.

I do RMG with either a M/F or foam applicator, still slightly damp, but slightly drier than i use for VMG. To take advantage of it's filling properties, i often buff this in for a while, to make sure it's really worked into the paint. Then i remove as per VMG.

I usually apply via machine, but when working by hand, (for which both products are fine), i have found the above to work well.

Gareth :)
