My fiancee's car has not been cared for as it should. It is a 2006 Toyota Corolla and has been bombarded by the condo's sprinkler system for an entire year. I am not sure how to remove them. I have both a adjustable Makita rotary buffer as well as a PC 7424. I need to know what pads/compound/buffer will work best to remove this damage. I know I may not be able to remove all of them, but if I can greatly reduce their appearance, I will be happy. Thankfully the spots are only on one side of the car.
In addition, once I have repaired the damage, what can I do to prevent this from reoccurring? Unfortunately, I do not have access to the sprinkler controls and my fiancee does not want to park farther away (gets home late, very dark street, prefers to part in front of front door).
