How can I keep my truck looking clean w/out washing? It's black!

A guy with the screen name TexasTB he's on detailcity but he might also be on here. I think i got the wording slightly wrong but I stuck to the basic idea.
 
Just wash it a couple times a week. Myself, I don't have a choice since I have a black car with soft paint. Once it gets past a couple days worth of dust, it isn't safe to QD it clean. :(

It's not so much the pressure of the water as it is the concentration of the wash solution; some places use a very strong mix to clean more thoroughly. So it's gonna be a question of the wash you go to and how they have it set up. My wife takes her Audi through a touchless in TN when she's visiting her family, and it never compromises the #16/476S I use on it. Doesn't do a perfect job, but it's not bad by any means.

Yep, had a black car. IT WAS H*LL!!!

It can look sweet after a weekend of intensive TLC.

However, it will just look like c*ap only 3 days later.

Life is too short to take real good care of a black car.



PS: We Autopians better live a righteous life. You know if you end up -you-know-where- the devil will give you a black Ferrari and you will have to spend eternity to detail that car.

Nah, too many would want to polish the Ferrari. You'll get a Pacer or a Gremlin. :scared:
 
I use a CCD, QD and S&W for my black truck



I use the CCD and don't have a problem with marring...but I don't use it on anything other then light dusting. I use it daily, less then 5 mins for a quick wipe down.



QD for anything heavier then light dusting



And below is what I use S&W for:
